Ed Merlin Murray is an illustrator and multidisciplinary artist working across drawing, collage, animation, and book-based projects. His work often takes the form of self-contained systems ~ books, drawings, and animated sequences ~ developed as complete, internally coherent bodies of work.

His practice explores invented mythologies, symbolic systems, and the quiet absurdities of belief, often through slow, tactile analogue processes.

Alongside professional illustration work, he produces self-initiated projects including animated sketchbooks, artist books, and printed matter. He lives and works between the UK and Malaysia.
